Dr Aziz uses portable ultrasound equipment to perform and review your scan during your consultation. This means you generally will not need to attend a separate imaging appointment before discussing the findings and the options that may be appropriate for you. Having the consultation and scan completed together may also make appointments more convenient for people travelling from Mosgiel, the Otago Peninsula and other nearby communities.
Booking a Private Appointment
You can contact the clinic and book directly without first obtaining a GP referral. Dr Aziz recommends keeping your GP informed, and you can request a referral after securing your appointment. Patients with private health insurance may have some or all eligible costs covered, depending on their policy. The team can check your level of cover before you proceed.
